Assisted Dying Bill

Today was the start of the Report Stage of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill (Assisted Dying Bill) and the debate will continue on 13th June, followed by the Third Reading. I have and will continue to oppose this harmful legislation at all stages.

I took the opportunity to raise a concern from the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the debate, referring to the lack of clarity on the role that psychiatrists would play on a judgement panel.
