MP secures bins to tackle dog fouling in Randalstown Forest
Robin Swann MP has secured two additional dog waste bins for Randalstown Forest following concerns raised by constituents in an effort to address dog fouling in the popular working spot.
Mr Swann said:
"The Forest Service have confirmed to me that following a request from my office, new dog waste bins have now been installed along trails in Randalstown Forest. Prior to this, the only available dog waste bins in Randalstown Forest were at the carpark, resulting in dog walkers having little opportunity during walks in the forest to dispose of dog waste.
"I hope that the introduction of these two new bins within the forest will reduce dog fouling and increase convenience for those making use of this great outdoors space with their dogs."
