Swann celebrates success of Balmoral Show

South Antrim MP Robin Swann has praised the continued success of the Balmoral Show following his visit to the annual show.

Mr Swann described the show as a fantastic showcase of the very best of Northern Ireland’s agri-food sector.

Commenting on the visit, Mr Swann said:

"It was a great day at Balmoral and a pleasure to see the show proving such a success once again. The agri-food sector is incredibly important to Northern Ireland, and this event remains a premier platform to celebrate our local produce and farming excellence.

"I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to speak with so many attendees from across South Antrim and further afield.  The engagements with our local farmers and business owners were really valued, along with the discussions held alongside my UUP colleagues and the NI Affairs Committee.

"I want to congratulate the organisers on another brilliant event that puts the very best of our rural and agricultural communities on display."

“I would also encourage everyone to support their local agricultural shows which will be happening across Northern Ireland, especially the fantastic Antrim Show, which will be held on Saturday 25th July.”
