Swann Hosts South Antrim Business Breakfast
On Friday (11th April) Robin Swann MP hosted a Business Breakfast at the Dunadry Hotel and welcomed the businesses and individuals who have invested in the South Antrim constituency to make it a great place to live, work and visit.

The business reps were joined by the MP as well other Ulster Unionist politicians South Antrim MLA Steve Aiken, Robbie Butler MLA, Lord Empey and Elliott, and Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Councillors.

Addressing the attendees, UUP Leader and Health Minister Mike Nesbitt MLA presented the Party’s ‘Prosperity Agenda’ which would see everybody waking up with a sense of purpose and go to bed with a sense of fulfilment due to the economic security of a well-paying job, access to a world class education system and health service, and the safety of a fair and robust justice system.

The Head of the Federation of Small Businesses NI Roger Pollen outlined the pressures facing local businesses as a result of the Windsor Framework and the uncertainty of the tariffs from the US Administration. Mr Pollen went on to outline the work of the FSB NI on these matters.

Following the breakfast Mr Swann said:
“I am very pleased to have been able to host so many local businesses from across the constituency, and across the many sectors who operate in South Antrim. Many of the businesses here are ones that I have worked closely since being elected, working with them on issues of trade, minimising the impact of the Windsor Framework and growing their local footprint.
“For employment, economic growth, and making Northern Ireland work, we have plenty of reason to support and foster our local businesses of all sizes, and I am keen to continue to do so.
“This will be the first in a series of these events and I’m looking forward to engaging further with these businesses and many more from all parts of South Antrim.”
