Swann Tables Westminster Motion Commending Council’s Economic Growth

Robin Swann MP has tabled a Motion in Parliament to formally recognise the recent economic success of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.

The motion congratulates the Council for attracting over £1 billion in investment and creating thousands of jobs, establishing the region as a premier hub for global business and innovation.

Mr Swann commented:

“Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council are leading the way in Northern Ireland. Their proactive approach has secured hugely important investment in sectors like life sciences and manufacturing, providing high-quality jobs for local people. I am pleased to highlight their achievements at Westminster.”

By tabling the motion, Mr Swann aims to ensure the Borough’s strategic importance to the UK economy is recognised by fellow MPs and the Government.
