Swann Welcomes Asda Cashpot Funds for South Antrim Schools

In September this year, Asda launched the Cashpot for Schools initiative which has provided primary schools across the UK with additional funding. Through the scheme, Asda has donated 0.5% of the value of shopping carried out through Asda Rewards to local primary schools, selected by their customers, up to the end of November.

Customers in Northern Ireland have raised a total of £183,884 for local primary schools.

South Antrim MP Robin Swann has been a supporter of the scheme and commented:

“I am delighted to say that in the South Antrim constituency, 40 primary schools have benefited from this scheme with a total of £18,349 have been raised through Asda Cashpot for these schools.”
