South Antrim MP Robin Swann hosted two local church leaders at the National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast in Westminster this week.
The annual event, held in the historic Westminster Hall inside the Houses of Parliament, brought together over hundreds of attendees, including high profile government ministers, opposition leaders, and church leaders from across the United Kingdom.
The main address at this year’s gathering was delivered by Clare Williams-Sarpong, who spoke on the central theme of hope.
Commenting on the event, Robin Swann MP said:
“It was fantastic to be joined at this year’s National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast in Westminster Hall by the Rev Jonathan Moxen from Ballyclare Presbyterian Church and Rev Stephen McElhinney from Glenavy Parish, where the message from Clare Williams-Sarpong was that of ‘Hope for the future.’
“Having Jonathan and Stephen there to represent our local churches at such a major national gathering was a real privilege and I was very pleased they were able to join me for the occasion.”
